WOW!!!
My first solo. What else can I say. You all have to remember the feeling it brought you right. I'm on cloud nine now. I will be on it for a while to. I did two flights, all alone, ground work, taxi, take off, flight time, and landing...on the runway too
I was a bit nervous, but after I made my first few turns, I was settled down.
I trained on the cord, with a flight instructor for 3 weeks, @ about 12 flights. That is all the difference in the world. I've seen people go at it alone, or with just a simulator....and well not so well. I can't stress enough how important a good instructor is. I'll be back it in the morrow, weather permitting. Thanks for all of the advice from members of this board, and good luck to the people taking to the sky for the first time solo like me.
Hello blue sky....I'm here.

I just had my "first" solo flight few weeks ago after being away from R/C for four long years. That was just as exciting as my first real solo. I'm sure you're going to have more of those cloud nine feelings as you progress. First loop, first roll, first flight on another new plane...

Congrads, I remember my first flight a few years ago and I still have to wear kneepads pionted inwards at times (Get your minds out of the gutter it's for my knocking knees) I bet your already eyeing that cool second plane like I was.

Geez guys, gimme a break! LOL!
I'm actually glad to see these are so "in demand"!
(I don't get to give many out at this time of year... I hope it's a sign that Spring is getting closer!!!!!)

WOW!!!
A certificate just for little 'ol me
You guys really are part of what makes this hobbie so great. Great planes, great people...what else can a person ask for. I llok forward to all of the many first that are waiting for me, and yes I have to keep all of the cool looking planes out of my head. But what's important to me is to learn the correct way, the safe way, and be a complete pilot every step of the way. Needless to say I plane to be with my good old Superstar for a while.
As I move on to a new plane, I will keep you guys in the loop.

Way to go, Noir!! It`s a truly great feeling, isn`t it? I soloed back in November and fly my Avistar every chance I get. Loops, roles, Immelmanns, split-s , some not so neat cubans and some unnamed maneuvers are really keeping things interesting. I`m sure they will for you too! One thing I`ve found out, ALTITUDE IS YOUR FRIEND as a beginner! Have fun and keep the clean side up and the greasy side down!

Good for you!!!
I wish I could be were you were. My glow trainer was but to rest after it crashed with an instructor. Had 3 or 4 flights with it then the winter came so.[&o] The good thing was I still had my little electric estarter to goof around with.
