Default Bomb drop on trainer?

Does anyone have ideas on how to build a bomb drop or know where one can be bought?

You can also make a drop mechanism using a pin-release for "external stores."

2 eye bolts on the belly of the aircraft, 2 eybolts slightly closer together on the "bomb" (I typically put a bit of flour in a plastic easter egg and add fins) A piece of wire acts as the retaining pin. pull the pin with a string and the bomb falls.

You can add a pen-spring for automatic locking of the pin to hold the bomb. (just pull by hand to load... a servo easilly overcomes a pen spring.)

This simple release can be adapted for dropping parachutes and mounted on the top of an aircraft (near the CG) for a glider tow release. (takes practice and cooperation of the tow pilot and the glider pilot or you wreck 2 models very fast)

A popsicle stick, a dixie cup and two rubber bands. Slit the cup on either side just over the bottom. Slide the popsicle stick through the slots and use a rubber band on either side where it sticks out to hold the cup to the nose of the plane. If your trainer already has a rubber band held wing you can eliminate the two extra ones and hook it on top of the wing (preferably forward of the C.G.).

Can drop an egg, golf ball, golf practice ball or a half a dozen Hot Balls by performing a half roll or Immelman over the target. Also teaches you to perform a smooth take off.

A Fun Fly standard since U-Control days.

Just make sure you don't set up a snap roll switch on the same side as the bomb drop when your dive bombing the center of the field at a low altitude, Thank goodness it was a SPAD and the bomb was still on the darn plane after impact DOH
