A good start point is 1/4 of the wing chord back from the leading edge. Chord is the width of the wing (not the span). So if the wing is 12" wide, then 3" back from the leading edge is 1/4 or 25%.

a good place to start would be just a bit nose heavy on the spar. it is always safer to be a little to nose heavy than tail heavy. nose heavy airplanes fly poorly tail heavy airplanes fly once.

PM,
The PT40 is a Great Planes/Hobbico product, Thunder Tiger makes the engine. You can find the PT40 (for either the kit or the ARF) settings on the Tower Hobbies website.

the best place to start would be the compnay website because usually you can download a manual right from the website.....[8D]don't worry man.....your not alone in the fact that you don't know exactly what to do....we were all in that position once!
