Default Hints on Arrow Trainer

I have recently switched from electric flight to gas flight by purchasing Hangar 9's Arrow Trainer. Can anyone out there give me some tips or hints on this particular plane, such as its handling characteristics along with any other feedback that you may have.

Thanks.

I'm in the exact same boat. I have yet to get my Arrow together though. What kind of engine and equipment are you planning on using in it???

From what I hear from others, this is an EXCELLENT trainer, handles VERY well and its very durable.

I bought this plane as a complete kit, including JR Quattro 4-channel radio and Evolution .46 engine.

Now that I've spent over $400 in parts..I've been eyeballing the kit..lol

I got a Super Tiger .61 Engine, Futaba 6exa transmitter, Futaba 127DF Receiver, Futaba Servo's, and a big phat JR sticker for the back of my plane..lol how backwards. Please post up when you get your plane built...maybe we can compare opinions of the plane

RTF vs. ARF

I took the plane out for the first time today and its performance was outstanding. The .46 motor had more than enough power even in 15 mph winds. The take-offs and landings were a little difficult to do in the wind, and the only thing I didn't like about the plane is the generic servos that come with an RTF kit.

Overall, I am highly impressed with the performance and durability of this plane and would recommend it to anyone that has limited flying experience.

Why do you say you didn't like the generic servo's? Are they not working as good for you? Or are you mainly concerned with quality?
