Default Recovering Problem

I am pulling the Ultracote covering off my plane I have had for quite a few years now and it doesn't look too good. There is so much covering still stuck to the wood, I was wondering, do I just sand it off or what? How do I get the sticky part of the ultracote off the wood that didn't come off with the rest of the covering? Does anybody have any suggestions?

Use a heat gun to heat the covering while you pull it off slowly.-it works fine.
