Default 4*40 ARF

Hi,
I can't find any posts on this plane.
Anybody got one?
What changes were necessary during assembly?
Thanks,

There are many threads on it in the ARF section. (most are old and scrolled off "into oblivion," but can be found with the search function...)

IT NEEDS NO CHANGES! just a decent inspection as with any ARF... and the normal attention to fuel resistance. in the firewall area.

Follow the instructions. Stick a passable .40 to .46 2-stroke or up to a .52 4-stroke on the nose... use a long low pitch prop... and it will do everything it was designed to do.

FH,
I tried the search with no avail.
I appreciate the post.
I assume use a long low pitch prop... means 11x4 vs an 11x6 on 46LA.
I noticed a big difference between the two on my Supersportster, who died Saturday.

.46 LA.. 11X5 to 12X3 (12.25X3.75 APC is IDEAL... but... might need to make longer landing gear)

The advantage of the long low pitch is... SUPER static thrust. A .46 can pull a .60 size ttrainer vertical unlimited with that prop. (7.5 lbs!) 3D guys love the APC for Hovering .40 size Fun-Fly/3D models with a .40 LA.

I used a Magnum .40 XL... and 11X4 on my 4*40... I could d vertical inside-outsidde 8's appx 100 ft dia each loop (200 ft tall maneuver) as long as I wanted to ( and could keep from messing up with the ailerons and driving it out of line... I tend to give aileron wth elevator... bad thumb problem), and never use full throttle on the upward S. (and never gain excess speed going down with the engine idle'd back)
