Unfortunately guys, I said the same thing to him in a PM a week ago when he PMed me because he was mad that we didn't agree with his childish behavior. Unfortunately he didn't listen to that either. Fortunately, from previous experience with people like this, they don't last long and go away. Hopefully, they don't hurt anyone with their wrecklessness while they are here.

How are things in Missoula Flyboy?
I hear ya... just had to give my 2 cents worth. I'm concerned with youth who have this attitude with things in life. They either grow up and wonder why they were so dense or never grow up and wonder why they are behind those funny looking bars.

And I don't know anyone more deserving.
Besides, "mean" would be telling him he needs to lean out his engine more.
Dennis-

All
Even though I just put my plane together last weekend and haven't flown it yet, I have been reading all the stuff I can.
From what I have seen here, EVERYBODY wants to help the newbees out and get them started the right way.
It took a VERY concerted effort on the part of many members of this forum to talk this kid out of starting off with a P-51 and get a trainer instead. I even hopped on the bandwagon for that conversation with him and told him from the get-go that one of the first steps is to locate a club in his area and start talking with them. The only part of that that he listened to was to not buy the P-51 as his first plane.
All I can say to you guys with this one is GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Yay! There would be no anticipated case of the Missing P-51 Mustang... If it had happened I am sure that Professor Moriarty shot the model plane down with a flak cannon, downing the plane and burying the whole thing two feet under the ground, with half the fuse turning into a planeshower. If Sherlock Holmes had just dug up the whole flying field, he might have found it!
Hmm... too bad Watson died...

Minn and all,
i vote we just all ignore his posts and see if he KNOWS what hes doing like he says
and how long his stuff lasts.
secondly i would like for his DAD to read the answers to his sons posts here and see how things should be done. and then see if he stops at an empty field again for this kid or if hes willing to pay for the damage he does.

Daddy can't paddle is behind. The kid would scream "CHILD ABUSE" and have him arrested.
I also agree with Yub yub. . . He's not telling daddy anything about what he is being told here.

As spoiled as this kid acts, I doubt that his father would DO anything. Seems more like this kid's every whim is indulged.
