Thought I'd post some pics of my new SIG LT-40 ARF Took about a month working a bit each weekend. (I went slow, and made sure everything was just right!)
Got a YS-45 up front so hopefully that'll be plenty of power.
Futaba 6EXA radio with 3004 servos all around.
The ARF was pretty nice, Honestly built better than I would have (built an eagle2 and GP decathlon five years back). Nothing warped cracked, or bent, I didn't follow the instructions verbatim, and made a few mods along the way to strengthen the plane.
The covering job is cheapo tower hobbies covering dark blue, and cub yellow, on top of the base white that the arf comes in... I liked the scheme from the box on the fuselage so, I copied that, and put the stripes on the bottom of the wing for visibility.
EXCELLENT ARF, I'm quite impressed, I'm glad I at least built a few planes before I found this one to really appreciate the quality.
I CAN'T WAIT TO FLY IT!!! Hopefully next weekend weather permitting....

Noticed in your pics that it has a bolt on wing.Is that the way it came or did you put them in yourself?I got mine about a year ago and its rubber banded on.

Came with the bolt on wings... I think thats the way they are shipping now. Balances PERFECTLY on the spar, with the reciver just ahead of the servo tray, and the battery just in front of the reciver. Hopfully weather will be good soon (supposed to snow in NYC tomarrow) so I can make the drive out to Long Island and fly the baby!

Ok added a bit more contrast to the upper wing covering scheme... So hopfully it'll be easier to see from the top now
Thanks for the good ideas!

Compute42, Plane looks GREAT !!! The yellow will contrast nicely against the sky blue.
I am teaching my kids ( 13 & 8 ) with an LT-40/.46FX, flies incredibly well.
Hey, maybe I`m wrong, but I don`t see the tightening screw on the EZ connector you are using on your throttle servo. Check it out.
Good luck on your mayden !!!! JT
