I called about the Global Right Flyer 60h 11 and since it will need covering i decided to paint it instead so i called a dealer and asked if i could paint it instead of covering it and he said no because of the design,Anybody know why it couldn't be painted ?.Maybe the wing has open ribs but i'm not sure.
Thanks

that is probably the reason... If it does have ribs I suppose you could seal the rectangle holes between the ribs with 1/16" balsa sand it and paint... I would just monokote it though...

Something I would like to try is Polyspan. http://www.faimodelsupply.com/starline-polyspan.htm
I've never painted a plane but this stuff sounds interesting. Should work up like Koverall I would think. Let some other people give you some input on this.
