Default Engine mount

Can a normal 2 stroke ongine be mounted upside down? I am going to build a SPAD mustank and the pic I have seen the engine is mounted upside down so the cylinder head sticks out the bottom of the cowl. Or do I have to buy a special engine or somthing.
Thanks
Travis

No problem.

Sometimes they are difficult to start, but if that happens, just turn it up side down to start it.

You can mount a 2 or 4 stroke engine upside down with no problems. Just remember that if you do flood the engine, that you will need to turn the plane upside down so the engine is right side up (like Mike said) or remove the glow plug to remove the excess fuel.
