Hi, Does any know whats a good computer radio thats easy to program. I would like a radio that has more. then 4 channles. Which radio is the easyest to program. Has to be affordable parents give me little alounce and takes a while to save up.

The Hitec Flash 5X is very good and also inexpensive.
What kind of plane(s) are you planning on using the radio for? That will determine what types of mixing and so on you will need.

The Futraba 6XAS is a good first choice, it's what i use..

JR have a similar model. Both JR and Futaba should be the more popular radios at teh feild..

i too own the 6XAS and i can say that is is a fairly simple radio to use/program. The instructions may been a little vague at time but all around a good radio for the $.

Actually... about any of the modern computer radios are simpe to program. Yo do need to read the manual, so you know what the abbreviations mean (PMIX1... RST... ACRO... ELVN... are examples from my radio)

It helps some to get something similar to what someone at your flying site already has. That way they can help you understand what works and what doesn't. I am a FUTABA guy. JR is also a great radio. I think if you buy a Futaba 6xas you will be very happy. It has everything you really need. Six airplane memory, expo. and dual rates. The instruction book is a little much the first time you read through it, but read it twice and I guarantee the second time through it makes a lot of sence.

I started mowing lawns when I was 11 to pay for the hobby. Get out there and work and it will come quicker. The easiest I have ever programmed is the 9C but it is spendy. Well worth the money though. Best radio I have ever used. I used to have up to 8 radios at one time. I now just use the 9CHP and a bunch of recievers. it is great.

What would you imagine a 8channel computerized control would cost? They say that I could get away with a 5 channel.. but making mix's sounds like I might get carried away.. so the 9 channel is around 1000 i'm guessing the 8 is around the same? Also, if my ideas on getting an 8 channel for a VERY new pilot with insane potential are correct, which control should I get? I'd rather not pay more for electronics than for the plane itself but money is no object since I'm going full blown in this art.
