what a rush
After about 2 and a half months of building a great planes pt-40 i took it to the local field today and had a instructor take it up on its maiden flight it took right off and what a rush to see all that hard fun fly. The instructor was shocked he said it needed no trim adjustments at all and that i did a great job of building it. I was also lucky to get to fly it for about 10 mins with him helping me next weekend i will have a go at it on a buddy box. Thanks to all here that have answered all my questions i am very proud to be a member of such a great forum

RE: what a rush
I was back at the field today for my second trip. One of the older pilots there was talking and his take on it is this, "its the most fun you can have with your clothes" and not get arrested too. I think he was right.

Now you know why I build my models from kits or plans. It's a great feeeling seeing all that effort fly so beutifully. Congratulations on a job well done.
