Default CG question for Dragon Lady

i have my dragon lady done. i have a TT 61 pro on it. i tried to balance it out yestarday using the CG range they gave in the manual. it will not balance. it is tail heavy. i moved radio gear as far forward as possible. no help. still tail heavy. any suggestions? i am using an engine on the small side of the recommendation from the manual. it says .61- .91 2 stroke or .91- 1.20 4 stroke. maybe i need to get a bigger engine. thanks for any help.

Time to get out the buckshot.

Actually, you COULD try moving the engine forward if the cowl will permit. Otherwise, you'll have to add some lead to the nose. This is really no big deal, it's done all the time.

i think it would take too much weight. with that engine i would lose too much.

I have a Magnum 1.08 on mine and it was still tail heavy, had to move radio, and battery forward, and add about 1oz. infront of the gear. I haven't flown her yet, but from everything I've heard I don't know if the .61 will do much for a 9lb bird.
Did you install the rud. and elev. servos in the tail?

no, the servos are up front. but i am thinking i need to pick up a bigger engine in toledo. the radio gear is as far forward as it can go.
