Ever happen to you?
After getting to bed late last night (12:30am) I had to awake early this morning (5:00am)for a appointment. Upon the alarm going off I stumbled into the bathroom and proceeded to get dressed for the day. After applying deodarant (spray can)to the right side then the left I could smell a strange chemical smell. My first thought was I had knocked over one of the bottles on the bathroom sink. I looked down and saw the can sitting there then to the left and noticed the deodarant can sitting to my left !! OH NO !!!!!! I had worked on a trainer last night and finished balancing the prop in the bathroom with the vent on to clear the smell of the ACRYLIC LAQUER that I apply to finish balanceing the prop. Needless to say everything became real clear as to what i had done! Imediatly I grabbed the nearest bar of soap and washclothe and tried to clean the stuff off but....too late it was already setting in real good. Well it really sucks to make a mistake like this. LESSON LEARNED !! Get more sleep or balance prop in the garage downstairs from now on.

I'm a pharmacist... you wouldn't believe how many questions we get from people who opened the medicine cabinet in the dark or who didn't look at the label before using and took some of 'A' when they meant to take 'B' or applied 'C' to their 'ZZZ' when they meant to put 'F' in their 'YYY'....so, you're not alone in putting things in the wrong spot!

RE: Ever happen to you?
I like to drink coffee while I work. It doesn't matter if it's 10 degrees or 100 degrees outside, 10:00AM or 10:00 PM. When I paint (using a brush), I have a bad habit of setting the coffee cup next to the paint can. I have thought about that alot but to date, the worst I have done is dipped the brush into the coffee or picked up the paint can realizing that it was the wrong "cup". I figure it's just a matter of time before I have a swig of Minwax. I will let you all know how it tastes!

Your not alone...I too have had a brain fart. One evening while assembling a new kit, I was ca'ing two pieces of balsa together while in my underwear (don't ask). You NEVER want to drip ca on your bare leg. Especially when your leg is as hairy as mine. OUCH! That was a miserably painfull ordeal. Makes getting a wax job look like fun. I have since adopted a more formal attire when building.

RE: Ever happen to you?
The question is...are YOU balanced now???
This is nothing compared to what I did long time ago....after a long hard working day I came home and decided to take a full bath and proceded to put some mineral salts in the water...well when I got in I have realized the "salts" were granules of sherlock wood polishing [&o]....in about 5 min I was shinning like a wall unit....
Four hours later and a pack of blades gone I was back to natural skin condition less ALL the hair...
