Default 1st gasoline engine

In the near future I will be installing my first gas engine ( G26). I have ran glow up to now. Can you guys offer some advice on getting started with gas?

Set-up, field equipment requirments, etc

The plane is a H9 TCraft

Thanks for your help

What engine do you have. They all have a unique starting procedure. Get the right one, they fire easy.

Also, keep the radio gear as far from the engine as possible, and keep the kill switch for the engine as far away from the radio as possible. Use ni rod to the throttle so you don't get any RF noise to the radio. I had my kill switch too close and the radio kept going into fail safe. What a pain to find.

Have fun with it. Gas is a blast.

In my opinion, adding an electronic ignition to a gas engine is well worth the cost. I own a G-62 with the CH Electronics TCSA system. Nice easy hand starts and flawless running.
