Default Landing Gear Conversion

I have an 'Alpha' type trainer which of course has 3 wheels (2 in the mid section & 1 in the nose)... I would like to find a kit or facimile to convert to a pontoon type so I can take-off & land in water as I have a cottage up north on a fairly large lake. Can someone direct me a site or offer any advice to this novice flyer....

Many Thanks....Mike

There are lots of floats on the market, all you really need is another set of gear to mount to the Fwd Float attachments. Then a plywood brace inside the plane to bolt on to.

And if your lazy like me, you can buy a hardwood block already slotted for landing gear. Cut out a hole the right size and epoxy it in, then do some reinforcement and you are there.
