I've been flying for 7+ years and just now am getting into RC flying..I'd also like to know where i can get the electronic parts, servos, battery pack, recievers etc.. any tips on building will be apreciated...

Get an Instructor untill you solo PLEASE!!
RC and Full Scale are VERY different so please DONT get to thinking you can fly R/C by yourself for the first time!
Anyway, try to find a local hobbyshop to buy stuff. They have exellent advice just waiting for you.
