Default Kyosho MIG

I am putting a new Kyosho ducted fan together and am having trouble with the electronics. I purchased one of the small 4 chanel recievers, mini servo's and battery. The trouble is, when I plug in the battery to the reciever the servo's move slightly, just for a split second but the servo's do not mover via the transmitter. The transmitter is from my PICO ECO helicopter and works fine on it. I removed the crystal from the HELI and used it in the plane. The reciever is for 72MHZ and thats what the crystals are. Any recomendations?

Is one reciever single conversion and the other dual conversion? The crystals are not interchangeable, even on the same frequency.

And in most cases, crystals from one manufacturer won't work in another's product. (Futaba crystal won't work in Hitec or JR or GWS or Airtronics, and none of them will work in Futaba's stuff.)

As was mentioned, if that 4 channel Rx is single conversion, it will also require athe proper crystal.
