Art:

You have insulted me. I thought I was too thick skinned for you to manage to do it. I was mistaken. Of all possible directions of attack that is the one I least expected. I do not look like A sasquatch, I AM THE Sasquatch. Self portrait attached.

I blew the extra cost for protective circuitry in my cpu box and monitor. That's what saved mine when your picture infested/infected the internet. I shudder to think how many other sites it shut down, though.

The picture we're waiting for is you wearing the mini skirt and mesh hose.

It was your idea, after all.

Not to be a party pooper guys and gals, but isn't this getting a bit off topic?

Personally, I've had one post removed and I was informed by a moderator via PM that it was deleted. I PM'd back to ask why and got a very polite reply with an explanation. I too, didn't want to make the same mistake twice. I feel if you're going to delete a post, a PM should be sent (even automatically) with a note that says your post was deleted. The PM would be from the mod who deleted it. This way, one could reply in private to get an explanation.

I agree with you Mike, that in MOST cases, a PM should be sent.

Minn:

I thought about putting your picture in that post, then I thought about Art, then... Finally decided I couldn't pick any one of us who deserved it more than another, so I left the original rectum. You have selected a different one.

Haw.

Mike Hawker:

I will usually send a note when deleting, and add a note in the post when I edit one. In some cases, though, the offensive nature of a post is so obvious that an explanation is redundant. And not sent. A record is kept of such posts, if the poster continues he is "Counseled." He may get flagged, his posts requiring moderator approval before becoming visible to users, or he may be banned. Either temporarily or permanently.

Don't know if was intentional or not but did you see the Danger Keep Away sign? Was it pointing at the tail rotor or something else?

Mike:

If the girl were mine the sign would not be indicating the rotor.

And if Minnflier gets tired of his apprentice I'll take her.

Now THAT's the way to go off topic! There's a sign in that photo?

You're right, Bill. Most know why their posts were removed. In my case, it was a post in the Manufacturers forum. I thought we were able to post as long as it was directly related to the question. I was very politely informed that this was not the case when I asked why my post was deleted. I was very happy to be able to contact the moderator at that point.

I think if you'll read post #11 again you'll see another reason for whackin your post. Off topic, is givin alot more lattitude than assinine comments directed towards another member.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not sayin I'm above posting off color comments.
I'm just sayin maybe you should consider that what you said may not have been taken in a way that was considered acceptable.

Tell you guys what. . .

I think that the moderators in this forem are doing an outstanding job. At one point we had a person on here, MinnFlyer will remember him, who would start threads to ask questions and then flame whoever responded with an answer that he didn't like. Mike shut him down. I even went so far as sending a PM to him to thank him for shutting him down.

Just keep up the good work moderators. And if you feel I need a good flame job, just give me a heads up so I can get my flame suit on.

Zetor:

You must not be an old farm boy."Gee" is the spoken command to a team to turn left, and I am definitely not a left-winger. "Haw" not only indicates a belly laugh, it is also the command for the team to turn right. And all right thinking people know that's the right way to go. Right?

And I'm not sorry for using the same word with three different meanings in one paragraph. Right - correct; right - conservative; right - direction.

Haw. (There it is again!)
