Default FF9 Cleaning Question !!!!!!!

Hi,

Just a quick questions whats the best thing to use to clean the silver / chrome finish on the FF9, mine seems to have lots its shine a bit on both sides where your hands rest ??????? guess im just fussy lol

Not to worry, i gathered it was chrome soo i dug out some chrome cleaning paste which i use on my car and it brought it up as new again, not sure if the case is real chrome but it worked

I would be very wary about using any form of abrasive cleaning paste.

As an aside, keep your tranny away from any fuel (eg wipe your hands of any fuel). On my ff9, the fuel residue off my hands got under the chrome and it bubbled up and started coming off. To Futabas (ripmax service centre UK) credit, they sent me a new front FOC even though it was out of warrenty.
