today i was running my engen for a bit and it ran out of gas so i took it to go get refueled and when i went to start it agen it made a loud screack when ever i turned the prop.

What could it be please someone help me!

Be sure it isn't hydo lcok. Is it difficult to turn over?
Pull the plug and run the engine with the starter to blow out any excess fuel.
Give it a try.

the engen wouldent start.

Maybe the prop was slipping on the shaft ?.

no the shaft is moving and the sound is coming from the cylinder

If yuo pull the plug and crank the engine with an electric starter... cover the head with a rag. The engine can spray fuel several feet... and that can blow the fuel directly into your eyes. THAT can be VERY painful, and there is a chance of it permanently damagng your eyes.

Without actually seeing the engine and hand turning it myself... its nearly impssible to diagnose it from the description.

My first guess would be you burned out the glow plug and it dropped the fillament out into the cylinder... and tat is starting to gouge the cylinder liner. If that is what is going on... STOP TURNING THE ENGINE! or you will destroy it. (might have already done severe damage...)

Find someone with experence dealing with glow engines to IN PERSON look at it. There is no other way to deal with this one.

i took the head off and took out the glow plug the filliment was still in but the lining was dry as a bone i put some fuel in and the squeek stop. i gess i justed needed some lube
