Default 2 motors 1 controller?

I am considering a twin that calls for 2 speed 400's and I want to use brushless. Can i use 2 brushless motors with one controller?

Most likely it won't. Will the 2 propellers always be in the same position and going the same speed? No. Now what happens when the ESC tries to figure out what position the motor is in?

You could fly 2 non-brushless motors with one ESC and the motors hooked in parallel (+ to +, - to - ) and have pleanty of power from the two motors. Use geared motors and thrust could increase with slightly larger props, and /or higher pitch, I said slightly! Remember that the mAh of the battery pack will have to be higher than one motor's needs
