Default Receiver hookup

Maybe I'm overlooking something but I cant find in any instruction manual how to hookup my receiver. Where does the battery plug in? Which servo goes to which channel? I'm using a hitec LASER 4 with a hitecRDC3500 8CH receiver. I need to hook up throttle w/ ESC, ailerons, and elevators (Wattage Impress). Please help me.

The BATTERY probably can, but the throttle control seems to be channel three. This is an electric plane and the Electronic Speed Control is using a Battery Eliminator Circuit so I can use the same battery for both the motor and the rcvr/servos. The battery plugs directly into the ESC, the ESC into the throttle channel. In this case the battery must connect to channel three through the ESC.

On an electric plane with ESC, DO NOT repeat DO NOT hook the battery directly into the reciever unless the battery is only 4 or 5 cells. If you are powering the receiver without the esc, then the 4 or 5 cell battery can be plugged into any of the channels. Normally, channel 1 = elevator, 2= aileron,3=throttle and 4 = rudder unless you are running JR which is quite a different order. If you plug a 7 or 8 cell battery directly into the reciever, you stand a good chance of wrecking the reciever (burning something out).
