Default Question On UCANDO 3D

I have decided to go with the UCANDO3D As my second plane. I have nearly enough to buy it<need $10> but i have a few questions.

1. I Have a super tigre .51 engine i was planning on putting in the ucando. Would this work ok?

2. The manual says i need a y harness for ailerons but I plan on using flaperons so i wouldn't need touse a y-harness right?

3.What channel do i plug the other aileron servo in to get flaperons?<I have a futaba 6exa radio>

4. I have some HS311 truck servo's left over from my truck, how would these fair for aileron duty? Or should I put them in the tail and my S3004's in the ailerons?

5.What advice would you give for flying this model? I plan to get one of the experienced 3Ders to take me up my first couple times but after that any tips?

Any advice welcome THANKS!

Default RE: Question On UCANDO 3D

1)the engine you are going to use will do the job if its a ucando 46

2)you wont need a y harness with the 6exa for ailerons you use channel 1 and 6 then you set the radio to flaps

3) you will need a switching harness for the rear elevators because of the install one servo is installed the oposit and the 6exa dosent have the switching capabilities.it tells you in the manual for the proper cable to use

4) i wouldnt use that servo i would just invest in the proper servo 3004 works fine from futaba also there only $20.00 or so

5)the plane has big ailerons so i suggest you set the d/r on the low rates and start there we did and it flys great then when you get more comfortable with it just flick the high rates when in the air and then HOLD ON

we installed a 46fx with a pipe and it does well in hovering chk the picks i posted on (Wheres this Modeling Hobby Going) in this forum
