I was messing with the display buttons the other day (tree style and flat) and now there are ads in between posts. Can I get rid of that or is that normal for everyone? Its not a big deal, but if I can click a button and make them go away I definetely will.

It has nothing to do with your bowser ("Don't adjust your set"). It is a new ad feature of RCU.

people hittng the arrow to look at the most recent post of a thread were avoiding seeing hte ads at the top of the page... so... they insert the ad right above the posts that are new to you now.

Kind of makes sense... they do make money based on the ads supposedly getting viewed. (and hopefuly clicked on so the advertisers make some sales)

Generaly... someone is lookiing to make a profit here... and that profit may or may not go into providing more server space. (if it doesn't... then the forum will die and he'll quit making money.. so I bet he improves things with time.)
