Hi, not sure if anyone noticed,
but I've been out at a training academy for the past 4.5 months, but now back in the mix of things. My planes have been sitting for that time. Before I left, I gave them a good cleaning(engine) charged up the rx batteries and disconnected them from their switches. Is there anything special I should do to the engines or batteries before taking back up to the friendly skies. Geezzzzzz, haven't flown in a while, hope I didn't forget how to go vertical and inverted?

From: gone,
I'd do a cycle test of the batteries... and a good inspection of the models... then run the engines... and FLY.
Its one of those "riding a bicycle" things... a few minutes and it will all come back.

Hello
I would re-peak your tx and rx batteries and go over all your hardware and you will find its like riding a bike.
It will come back quick

Cruz,
Good to have you back bud.
Now you know what it is like to live up north and not fly for months...[8D]
Get em ready and fly.
I always fly the plane that flys the best first and get used to the controls.
It won't take long until you will be ripping up the skys.

Minn, I feel for ya. We get to fly all year here.
Can you mount a set of skis on your plane and go? Just wondering. Seems like that might be FUN.

Suitcase and I flew Sat morning with a friend from work. He hasn't flown RC for 12 years except for a few short flights on my trainer last summer. He flew Suitcase's Twist 3d and did a perfect harrier landing and a slow roll that took the whole lenght of the field. So it does seem like riding a bike although he said it would help to knock the rust off more often.

Welcome back. You will be back to your old flying in no time. I was wondering what had happened to you. Glad to have you back on RCU.

Hey Rick,
Yeah, out for a short pause (4.5 Months) in Charleston, South Carolina. Happy to be back home though. My 2 year old son grew like a weed and talks a lot now.
keep in touch,

Cruz,
I sent you an email the other night and it bounced back.
So I tried it again. Did you get it?
Nice to see you are back.

Hey Vinnie, good to hear you chime in as well.
I think my email is not working correctly I've sent you and a few others here on rcu personal emails and haven't received any responses. I'll look into it today.
Yeah, I think my wife feed my son fertilizer when I was gone.

I have two RTF Trainers, an ARROW, and an ALPHA.
How much should the aerolons move up or down, there are no figures in the RTF manuals.
