From: gone,
There is an auto-gyro specific forum under Helicopeters.
BASICLY...
you can fly that model very similarly to a 3 channel fixed wing trainer.
The rotors MUST be angled to have air come through from below durring the take-off run. An effective 0 angle of the "disk" to the airflow means the rotors won't spin up... if the air hits the disc from above... the rotros may try to rotate backward (and it will never fly that way)
Some people will hand spin the rotors a bit to get them started before taxiing out to the runway. I'm not sure that really helps though.[&:]
The autogyro can hover in place for a short durratin in no wind. You can even make them back up into light wind when you get REALLY good at flying it. Doing landings moving backward with the tail to the wind drives other modelers nuts.

Depends on the autogyro... and what you are trying to do with it.
If you treat it like a 3 ch trainer... it handles like a 3 channel trainer (that can't do inverted)
