Default LT-40 almost done + pics

Well, here is my LT-40 that i am building. so far it is doing pretty well. I have the fuse fully completed.

I just have to cover the wing and it is complete! Man is this ever cool. When i first got it. I never thought that it would end up looking like this. It sure didnt look like it when i first took everything outa the box and i was jsut peices of wood.

Hope you like it. I designed everything myself. And had to cut out everything. No decals.

The LT-40 is a fun plane and no hanger should be without one, here's the one I have.

Yea I hear you. Crashing is part of it though. Heres what I did today. I've probably flown this plane 50 times without incident. There was no problem with the plane it went exactly where I told it to. Straight down, nose first into the ground.[X(] By the way are you building that thing with or without alerons?

Cool, You'll be glad you learned on an aleron plane. The learning curve is a little steeper but you'll be fine. Are you going to be flying with an instructor? I would highly recomend it. If not, fly the crap out of a sim first (I'm talking 10-20 hrs) untill you've mastered take off, landing, attitude awareness, flying horizontal 8's, maintaning altitude in your turns and be sure you can do this in adverse weather conditions (wind from varing and changing directions). If you can do this on a sim it will greatly increase your chances of a sucessfull first flight. Flying with an instructor is the best option however. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

glad you like it Tanner. It's a ball to fly and I have it set up almost tail heavy with a modified OS .46FX and it really does perform! when you are comfortable with yours start moving the CG back and you will also have a ball!!!!!!

Tanner,

Looks good. I am right behind you.....you started a couple mobth ahead of me, I just finished my left wing panel and am beginning on the right. My fuse is still in the wood sheets. But we'll compare and contrast once she's done.....Looks good!

Thank you veyr much guys!!

OF COURSE IM FLYING WITH AN INSTRUCTOR!!!!! lol yea but its the only way to go. Im not spending 600+ and 6 months of hard work just see it crash. hehe

Byris - sounds good man! I thnk this is the best kit out there.. that i have seen. It is very very easy to build, great instructions.. exept on the server installation lol.. got mixed up a little bit.. \

Also.. if you are a first time begginer like i am. remember this key tool when installing the servers. a screwdriver lol. you have to put these brass trhings into the server holes.. if you put the brass thing on a screwdriver and push the screw driver right threw the hole of the serer on the side. it works like a dream.. hope this made sense

good luck!!
