Default The Weekend For First Solo's

Well it looks like there were a few people who soloed this weekend....Including myself! It seems like it was a while coming but I did it! I was as nervous as a cat in a room full of rockers to say the least...I have one word of advise to all those getting into this hobby..find yourself a good instructor and it will make all the difference in the world.
I had one of the best and he made it a walk in the park...at least thats what he told me HA! It was windy down here in Florida this weekend and I was a little edgy about that but everything went fine. And some of you know how it is ...all the club members sitting behind you watching....I think we should give them big score cards so the can judge you first flights...lol...thats how it feels anyway.
Anyway...got in four good solos on Saturday and another 4 on Sunday so I feel pretty good about right now. When I got done with my first Saturday one of the other expericenced flyers asked me how long I had been soloing... I laughed and told him it was my first flight alone he looked at me smiled and said..." And you were out there doing touch and goes! When I first flew I was just glad to get up and down in one peice!" So that made me feel good. Well I just want to also Thank anyone who gave advise during the learning curve!

Congrats......

There's nothing more encouraging than a really good pass to a greaser. I love flying touch and goes, usually half my flight is working the pattern.

Great Job proprunner!!! As my trainer has said, Get that 50 or so
flights quick after solo which really helps..

Yeah the group of "Old Timers" watching you really puts the pressure
on some of us:-)... But when you do good and they give you that
thumbs up talk... GREAT FEELING!..

Keep up the Great Work!! And Congrads!!!!
