Default Falcon 56 pros/cons

i have an old Falcon 56 mk II w/ O.S. .40 FP engine and was wondering what you guys thought of the plane? I was just curious to see what other peoples opinons of it are. thnx

all proz, no cons. Simply the best trainer ever built. You can learn on it, then learn advanced! It is a great plane! I learned on it, and flew it for years. Have a new one in the box for my some day son or daughter to learn on!

I learned on one too. The Falcon has a semi symmetrical wing so it's probably a little faster than most trainers with flat bottom wings. But after you get the basics down, you can still fly the Falcon long after you would normally be bored to death with a flat bottom trainer.

That is great to hear. My 10yr old son wanted something different from the standard trainer for his first plane. I talked him out of a few planes and we settled on the Falcon 56. He is currently building it. Can't wait to see him fly it.
