Default Newbie charger question

Hi all, I'm really just getting started at this hobby (for 10 years, another story), but am looking to buy a charger. I don't know if it exists, but I would like something that can charge and maintain my rx and tx batteries, but that is heavy duty enough to charge my starter battery as well.

What should I look for?

Finfan!

Do yourself a favor! Buy the Great Planes Triton charger! It can handle Lead Acid(starter batteries), Nicad, nickel Metal Hydride, and Lithium ion / poly batteris!!! I bought one about 4 months ago and have wished everytime i use it that I had purchased it years ago!!! This charger will give you the most options for your money!

The only downside is that it is a little too user fiendly! What I mean is that you can adjust so much, you want to make ABSOLUTELY certain you have the right settings before you start charging! This is NOT hard to do, but you need to pay attention!

Just my thoughts,

Reg

I second the Triton. It pretty much can do it all.

count my vote for the triton too. It will grow with you, especially if you start flying electrics. See if you can get your LHS to throw in the li-po temp sensor for free, it was a deal for a while, don't know if its still so.
