From: Suffolk, VA,
yesterday i was at my field and noticed my friend with a 4 stroke it did not seem he used a glowigniter and i could not see a glowplug... i was wondering... does a 4 stroke have a need for a glowplug and igniter like on a 2 stroke?
i know this is a stupid question but any and all input is appreciated.

So I guess I'll ask stupid question back. Did he get it started?
But seriously, all 4 strokes need a glowplug and starter. It was probably a remote glowplug starter attached to his glowplug.
Simply a socket over his glowplug that has a wire led back to a 1.5 volt battery most likely in the fuse that is controled by his
radio throttle.
At least that is my best guess.
