Has anyone had experience with this policy??
Unfortunatly I had pretty bad crash with my Nexstar.. My instructor and I had been fighting with the motor all week.. Dead sticked it several times. Well this last time it dead sticked, I accidently stalled it too high on landing.. The whole front of the fuse is gone and the wing is severely damaged.
Unfortunatly, though, I cant get ahold of my instructor to verify this accident. Don't know if he is on vacation or not...
Im I just out of luck until he comes back??

I was actually looking for experience with the return policy.. I've had great experience with the plane itself, minus the engine troubles.. I was just curious how big of an issue it was to get another plane after crashing.

I haven't had experience with the policy, but yes you're out of luck until your instructor gets back. You will have to send in a letter explaining what happened, and he will have to sign it with you in order for it to be valid with Hobbico. Contact them anyway to see what all you have to do, but I know that is one thing. Maybe you can get started on something else if they need more.
