I average about 4 trips to the field per week. I usually make a day of it on Saturday. About three times during the week, I get there at about 4:00 and stay till dark. I'm just curious about how often everyone flies.

I fly just about every morning, I'm at the field by 6-6:30am.. It gets HOT
here... I usually get in at least 6 or so flights, sometimes more and almost
never less
..
I just got back from the field... The Dazzler made it safely after repairs...
doing my spins, I did pull out early... Guess I'm still thinking of when it did
not pull out...
Happy Father's Day to all the Flying Father's... Have a Great and Safe Day!!

Not nearly enough!
In Michigan we've had rain 26 of 31 days in May and really only had about 5-6 good days to fly in June. Wanna trade weather for awhile?
Before my new job, I was flying about 2-3 times a week, once during the week and early on the weekend days. But lately because of the new job and weather, I've only been out twice this year!

You frequent fliers are so lucky - don't ever let me catch you complaining about your field.
Some of us belong to clubs that only have access to a field once a week - and with British weather that can mean you have many days between flights sometimes.

I get out there any time I can.... Some saturdays I make a day out of it and normally get in about 12 flights.... Most of the time working on planes and admiring others planes. Also we have little flying wings out ther and The pilot of one is Incredible<he's 8 or 9 time world champ Jerry L. Smith> but I'm still scared to fly with those things in the air! LOL

I use to get out once or twice during the week, plus at least one weekend day, but with the new job I cn't get out during the week.
So far though, when the weather cooperates, I get to the field for a few hours on both Saturday and Sunday. The wind doesn't stop me anymore (at least as long as it's below 25 with gusts to 30
), so it's only rain that keeps me home. I have at least 70 to 80 flights in since late April.
If I can get a new vehicle that would allow me to keep planes and gear in it during the week, I can get back to a couple evenings as well. (I have to pick up three guys, plus keep tools in the vehicle during the week now. [
])

i work midnights (law enforcement). I go every morning when I get home, usually around 8am, and stay until 11 or noon, then i go to bed for the day. It is my only chance to see daylight and get outside. also, the air is still pretty calm that early in the morning.

Im with ya BHPD1438,
I work the same shift mostly and usually get to fly on my days off,but due to all the recent rains. Getting to the field is a problem. I try to get in at least one flight per week.

Well down here in the south .... a lot of the club members go up north for the summer.... so the field is pretty dead. I go out on Sat and Sun in the mornings and fly as much as you want! We have 160 members and about 3 show up for the early morning flys on the weekend! I love it!

I'm in Michigan. I flew 24 days in May and 13 days so far this month. If I don't have time to get to the flying field I'll go to a spot nearby and throw up an electric plane. I like to get at least one half day of flying in on the weekend. I'm lucky, my 10 yr old son shares my enjoyment of this hobby. I have not gotten as many flights in this last month as normal. My son soloed last Friday and I had been spending a lot of time helping him. I'm bad enough trying to get a flight in every night, but last week I really wanted to complete a new plane. The kid kept coaxing me to go to the flying field instead of building. I got the new one out on fathers day and we had a great time flying together.
There's always at least two planes (and an electric) in the back of the van.

I was flying every morning from 07:00 am till 09:00 am. Not bad huh? I consume one gallon a week on a 40 sized engine.
Been busy for the last couple of months and I am going back to the same routine again tomorrow!!!
