It only took a year but I've finally solo'd. Talk about jitters. Everyone standing around watching and throwing out the barbs. Guess it's a right of passage. The nice thing is I can go any time I want and not have to wait for an instructor anymore. It also frees up time for other students to get more flight time. Oh what a feeling!!!!

Congrats, isn't it a good feeling knowing that you can go fly pretty much when you want to now? I know it made me feel pretty good. Have fun and be safe.

Welcome to the brotherhood of RC flyers young one. Just kidding . That is great you have gotten your wings now. Although you have solo'd, believe it or not, training has just started now for you. Fly your trainer until the covering comes off (not literally) and try not to jump into a 2nd plane too fast. This is a big mistake most beginners do. Once you can fly you trainer to where you don't have to think about what to do, then go get you a Four Star or Ultra Stick. These are great 2nd planes. Keep your trainer as it will be relaxing to you, as it is so easy to fly once you have advanced into the hobby some. I think everyone should have a trainer to get back to the basics.

Be safe and have a blast when ever you want to now,
DTB
