The Sig Rascal 110 ARF could be considered a trainer; 110" span, flat bottom airfoil w/dihedral, .90-1.20 engine.

Yeah, I know; it's a TAIL DRAGGER, but I learned on a tail dragger. It wasn't that bad.

Sr. Telemaster is 95" span, flies slow and doesn't need a huge engine to fly well.

Sr telemaster, Super Flyin King, or the Bud Nosen trainer. Any one of them would be a big trainer.

The Flying King is pretty big. A guy at the club has one and a Sig Kadet Sr. I know that the FK looks bigger.

As was previously stated, Sig's Rascal 110 is big, and it could be considered a trainer. High wing, flies slow and stable. Only strike is that it's a taildragger, but they're not THAT hard to learn on.
