Try Richmond R/C and see if they have what you're looking for. They seem to have most, if not all, of what Vmar sells.

I think richmondrc owns the vmar, when i called a couple days ago the man i talked to had a real attitude, when i called back later the woman wasn't much better, first time i've had a problem with people from ca but like i told him,it's your loss not mine,i wanted to order two planes but glad i didn't after looking on the inside of one of them, cheap wood and some of it is split.

yep. i dont know what wood they use (it's not balsa or ply) but whatever it is, it is heavy, weak, and warps like crazy. the models are really junk. when i told the guy that my cap 232 came out at 9 lbs he couldn't figure out why. after the crash (wing failure in a not very stressful spin) i niticed that most of the glue joints in the tail weren't even butted up against eachother, rather the gap was filled in with hot glue.[:'(].

Retracts in a vmar ???????????? rather like putting a V8 in a scooter, a waste of time, the kits are bad and everything said above is true, they would probably break out on the first landing.
At the shop i manage we will not stock these kits, if someone ask's us to get them one, then we say no, we would rather not make the sale than sell rubbish.

i know that, but i figured that if you did not stock them and just ordered them and only after warning the customer, you wouldn't have anything to loose

Not trying to drum up business for Vmar, but in the U.S you would be better to order one from Quantum. Free Shiping from Quantum anything over $100 or $150 I think. Plus you don't have to wait as long for your package to go through Customs. I own a VMAR Aero Subaru. I wouldn't call it my best Plane, but it's O.K for a Cheap Plane. I don't try to compare $130 Planes to $300 Planes. For $130 Plane I don't have much complaint with it. It looks good and fly's good, and hasn't fell apart in the air. Maybe it won't hold up to a big crash as well as others might, but when you crash like me there are very few that would be worth trying to salvage anyway.
