Default It was nice to fly

Sure had fun watching the others fly this morning and i also flew not the best but it was a good flight, good because i got to do some figure 8's and now i know how to make the instructor's heart gain a few beats ,i decided to do a fly-by close to the runway and i think i told him hehe ,butwhen i came down it was kinda fast and sudden which he wasn't prepared for,the plane did a little nose dive but i brought it back to level "o did you get scared ?" ok,i'll tell you next time before i do that,no wonder instructors are a little jumpy at times.I also found out that slow flying is great except when turning and that's where you loose altitude but with practice i'm beginning to understand more every day,i had the chance to try and land but i wasn't ready to do that, this plane flies different than the alpha but i'm beginning to like it.The morning ended with all good flights by all,a good flight to me is when everybody can take a whole plane home.Went to a LHS this afternoon for a spinner, prop and fuel,it's funny how much you can spend for three items but come home with a sack full goodies.

Default I know the feeling!

I managed to get one flight in before the weather started to look threatening (something told me that lightning would not have been helpful, even if the storm itself missed us!). I'm feeling a lot more confident now with my Arrow...no more knocking knees, although my last touch & go ended up as more of a "touch and tear the gear off" kind of moment (the grass was too long so it stopped the prop, leaving me to glide straight ahead....straight into the only bench in sight....had exactly enough airspeed to pull up so the gear was the only thing affected....ripped the nylon bolt heads right off, along with the gear, but that's what they're designed to do, right? End result: 4 new bolts and she's good to go again.

What are you flying now? Good luck as you continue to learn and get better!

Nylon bolts are much better because they did what there supposed to do,break instead of rebuilding the bottom of your plane ,I'm flying a Cessna 40 arf and it flies a little different but i kinda like it.I have my eyes on another but i'm thinking on it.

Not me. It happens often at work. Its not lack of communication just poor communication that causes me problems.
