Default am radio

i was wondering if i should use fm radio gear in my plane or is am good enough[:'(]

If the AM set you have is gold stickered. Go ahead and use it. There is nothing wrong with an AM radio. The older Futaba Attack AM units worked very well. Good luck with whichever radio you use. Just be sure to check and replace worn batteries.

If the radio is gold stickered the am radio will be fine I have several of them and have never had any problems with them

If you havent bought anything yet I would go with fm. But, like posted above, modern AM is okey.
