Default war bird web sites

Does anyone have a list of some good websites to buy war birds. I am tired of looking in tower hobbies plusI would like to compare some prices with other companies. I have to buy every thing online because of my location.

You might try posting this to the WARBIRD forum. As far as warbirds go though you should be looking at hangar 9(www.horizon.com), World Models (www.theworldmodels.com), and CMP (www.GiantScaleplanes.com). Other than the obvious things that Tower carries. If you are into kits then the choices broaden a bit.

Hello, you need to look at the hobby lobby war birds section. There are all electric but if you don't mind this little inconveince they have nearly twenty different models that are pretty good size.

Als Hobbies in the UK is a good store for me. They are prompt and polite on the phone and have several different warbirds i.c. and electric, they also do jets and that kind of thing, their website is alshobbies.com.

Where to look depends partly on what you are looking for, as far as size, power (electric/glow/gas), ARF or kit (and if kit, what type of kit), how scale you want it to be, and how you want to finish it.

Suffice it to say that there are LOTS of planes out there. Frankly, Tower's selection has been getting worse over the years, there are lots of smaller companies with good reputations.
