Default Thunder Tiger 60 Balance Point

I have inherited taking care of our club trainer. It has setup for a couple of years and needed a lot of work. I am now putting it back together and wanted to correctly balance the plane. Does anyone know the correct balance point for this the Thunder Tiger 60 Trainer? Or are all trainers just balanced on the main spar?

go with the main spar or just a touch nose down and you will have a good plane. I like this plane to be just a touch heavy because it will float on you if you lose a motor.

I just built one, the balance point is 3 7/8 of an inch behind the leading edge of the wing

With the manufacturer's reccommended setup (3 7/8") I had to put 4 oz lead in the tail....TT.61 up front.

so, yes, i would move it closer to the spar, but just a smidgeon.

Or bump it an RCH (who can guess this measurement)
