Default Thrust angle on Mariner 40

Hello, Can someone tell me the proper thrust angle and up and down angle on a Mariner 40. Instructions do not address this. Does that mean you just mount the engine flat? Engine is OS 46fx. Thanks, This forum is such great help.

That is correct. After you fly it, you may want to add some up thrust, But I didn't need to on mine.

If you haven't seen it yet, I did a review on the Mariner last summer. Check it out:

I'm gonna try an 11 x 7. But it might be too much. Since I am a beginner, I am looking for power to get me out of the water, but not a lot of speed. Do you think a 3 blade would be a good option for me?
