Default How do I make repairs?

Ok here is the the story. First I buy a fuly built Superstar .40 on ebay from a very credible seeming guy who had just strated up a bussiness and had no time for flying. The guys new bussiness (luck me) is shipping so he hand ships the plane to me and shows me how everything works and such. It was nice. Since then I have been flying fine but eriaticaly. Now I was flying last week with a trainer and I had a mid-air. It wasn't too bad and my exact words while viewing it was "Cool!". I was very happy to see my plane flying just fine and the other guys plane seeming to have lost parts. (Wood and a wheel) So this other guy thinking he had all the damage comes in for a landing and lucky for him has a good trainer who was able to land his plane on 2 wheels. When I saw that the other guy had no body damage I looked at my plane which was flying just as well as it flew before. So I talk my trainer into landing the plane. It lands fine and to my aww my left stab is wrecked and I have half an elevator. This drew a crowd and I was given much advice that was at the time seemingly usefull. So I pack up my stuff and head to the hobby shop with the intent to just buy a new set of stabs. So I get it and go to work at taking off all the glue. This is where I begain to encounter problems, this glue the guy used was a combo of rubber, super glue, and some stuff the was much like foam. I tried and tired but I could not get this glue off, I even tried with a knife. Soon I found out taking the stabs off was much to difficult for me and I had already torn up parts of my covering and some of the wood. I return the stabs set to get the balsa, just to reapair it. This is more direct to me and would have been easy if I could get my hands on the balsa. It turns out I have no way of cutting it nor getting balsa that is 3/4 x 5/16. So I need help fixing my plane.

I need all the help I can get

Sorry to hear about your plane dude. I am sure you will get it back in the air. Not to change the subject, but are there pretty good deals on planes on EBAY. I just started flying this summer and my AEROBIRD is become kinda boring and I was looking for something better but I dont want to spend a huge amount of money. Good Luck with your plane

Use your heat gun Or a good hair dryer. Epoxy will soften with heat.
If it's similar to Elmers or Tite Bond, Keep it wet for a while and work the joint with a dull knife.
If it's CA you'll have to cut or saw the joint. Acitone or debonder might work but I doupt it.
