Ok i'm about to charge my nicads once ive dishcharged them and no where in the instructions does it state the time allowed to charge them? can any one give me a list for safe charging limits on ni-cd and nimh batteries. my charge rate for this unit is 150mah

also it states it will disharge txs as well but when i hook up my txs all futaba's the led dosen't light up what am i doing wrong or does this unit sound like its defective?

Senza, you can't go wrong with charging at 1C.....This means that if you have a 4 cell 720 mah nimh rx battery, you can charge this pack at 720 mah on the charger. In essence, the pack will be charged in an hour. With nicad cells, you can even go up to 2C.
So with your 150 mah charger, the 720 nimh pack will charge in between 4 and 5 hours depending upon how much is left in the pack.

Futaba radio's for the most part can't be fast charged or dicharged when in the radio,except the 9-c. The battery must be removed. If you have reciever packs less then 1000ma charge on the 50ma rate for 12hrs. after discharge.Dennis
