Default motor mount question

Goldberg makes a two piece mount that will fit about any engine. Great planes mounts are also two piece but over lap, are adjustable, and have the hole for nose gear. later daveo

Default motor mount question

My plane is a Avistar 40 from Hobbico it's the original style from 88 I found the manual on the web and it sounds like there should be some wood to drill into on the inside where the motor will be. The plane was crashed when I got it. Does anyone know how the motor was installed orignaly ? I've got some mount's but they all are to high becouse of the landing gear in the front.
any help would be great

Get the Great Planes mount with the hole in it for the front gear. The gear will slide through it and be held
in place with wheel colars. Great Planes web site has most of there plans on it. Look at the nose gear
on a PT-40. later daveo
