I recently got an SC 108 ABC 2 stroke r/c engine that I want to put in my spitfire. I want to run a three bladed prop and need advice on what size it should be. The manual only cites a 14 x 8 for a standard 2 bladed prop. It doesnt give any other sizes.
Has anyone got this engine or similar with a three bladed prop? What size would work best??
Cheers

My Feedback: (1)
The SC 1.08 is the same engine as the Magnum 1.08 in the states or the ASP 1.08 in Europe. My, and my buddy's, Mag 1.08s like to be lugged down instead of revving up. Our best props have turned out to be a 16-6 or 15-8. For a 3-blade, I would keep the pitch and go down 1 inch in diameter, so the 14-8 sounds good to me.

Gday Ed,
Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
How have found the 108 in terms of reliability etc SC's are not in abundance in Australia anymore... Mine will be inverted with a pitts muffler and on board glow.
Cheers
