how long on the trainer

i soloed on the 4th of july and im getting good at landing in crosswind and stuff like that. i bought an ultra stick .40. question is how long should i stay on the trainer befor i move to the stick. also i have been flying a hangar 9 1/5th scale cub and i have to say it is a fine aircraft

Good question... but you're the only one who can answer that question. Do you feel ready to move on? Here's what I'd suggest. Set up your stick and get one of the instructors or more experienced guys to maiden it for you. Once they've got it airborne and trimmed out, you take it and see how you feel. If it's too much, hand it back to the instructor and let them land it. Put it away and come back to it later.
If on the other hand, you're OK with it... have some fun!
I think you'll probably be OK... may have to tone down the throws a bit.

I agree with CP. Have someone more experienced maiden it, trim it and then take the sticks. You'll known pretty soon after if you want to fly it now or wait.
I just wouldn't be in any rush to advance. Learn all you can from the trainer, and from the Cub.
