Default Which engine ?

I'm kind of new at this. I'm actually Ku's Dad. We bought a small seaplane called a Glassair Sea Easy 1/2A ARF. It call for a .061 - .074 motor. I would rather have more power than less. I am not at all familiar with these small engines. Can someone recomend a real slick motor for this plane. Price is not much of an issue in this case. Are there 4 stroke motors this small ? Which manufacturer has the best quality? Thanks a bunch. Ku's Dad.

These Russian motors are hard to beat. Smallest 4c motor I know of is the .26 size.

I am not an expert on these little ones. But I hear Norvel is a good name for these size engines. Good luck with them.

You could go with a 10 or even a 15 two stroke on it. I too have never heard of a four stroke smaller than a 26.

Good luck with the plane, but keep in mind, smaller planes can be harder to fly becaues they're 'twitchier' in the air.
