which color more visible

The plane your talking about has a lot of wing and a good size profile. It's pretty easy to see. I once had a Fun-One covered in sky blue with red accent. The blue was easy to see. Even against the blue sky. The red was terrible. I should have used more of a contrast. Like white or bright yellow.

The most visible color is international orange. You don't have to paint the entire airplane with it. Perhaps just the wing tips, a fuselage stripe or the rudder and elevator or the cowl.

The overcast gray sky will be the only problem. I usually put underside wingtip strips of fluorescent orange trim sheet. I built the original kit with yellow and dark blue trim scheme. The gray sky turns it two shades of black. White with red trim seems easiest for me to see.
