Hello again,
I am thinking about setting up an Ultra Stick but I was wondering what engine, servos, and rx I should use. I have a JR 8103 (Yes I made my mind up on it). So any suggestions?
Thanks
Cole

Cole,
You didn't mention what size ultra stick you had, but I have a US .60 with a Saito 1.00 and its awesome. For control, I have the new JR XP6102, with the standard 537 servos. These servos are definitely strong enough, the control surfaces aren't huge. For the Rx, I just used whatever came with the XP6102. I also found it helpful to mount the servos in the tail. For an engine, if you have the .40, go with the new Saito FA-82, or if that's too expensive, go with the FA-72. This is a really great plane, it deserves a Saito.

I sold my US 60 to my brother with Evo NT .61 and JR 537 servos and R700 Rx. Good combo..it flies nice. An alternate engine might be a .91 or 1.00 4 stroke. I'd go with the same set up on a US 40 but use a .46-.50 2 stroke or .72 or .82 4 stroke.

Cole,
Where do you fly at? I fly at American Turf Flyers and have an Ultra Stick 60 and use an 8103 for my radio. I wold be happy to go over mine with you if you want. Just let me know.
